About this notice

This notice describes how Engage Companion handles information associated with the public Engage Companion website and early-access communications. It does not describe a clinician’s local clinical records or the privacy practices of a healthcare practice using Engage Companion.

Information you choose to provide

If you contact us or ask to receive updates, you may provide professional contact information such as your name, email address, role, practice, or organization. We use that information to respond to you and provide the updates you request.

Please do not send patient names, treatment information, screenshots, clinical notes, or other patient-identifying or clinical information through the public website or early-access email.

Website and technical information

Like most hosted websites, our hosting provider may process limited technical information needed to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the site, such as request details, IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and security or diagnostic logs. We do not use the public website to collect patient clinical records.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Tag Manager on the public homepage and Privacy Notice at engagecompanion.com and www.engagecompanion.com to manage website tags. Loading the container sends a request to Google, which may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details. We use Google Analytics 4 through Tag Manager to understand visits and interactions on these marketing pages. Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers and process technical and usage information, such as pages viewed, referral sources, and browser or device details. Additional information collection and cookies depend on the tags configured in the container. Google Tag Manager is excluded from the app subdomain, sign-in pages, and clinical workspaces. Sign-in areas may use storage necessary for authentication and security. We will update this notice as website analytics practices change.

How we use and share information

We use website contact information to communicate with you, operate and secure the website, and understand interest in Engage Companion. We may use service providers that support website hosting, email, domain services, and related business operations. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

Retention

We retain business-contact information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was provided, our legitimate business records, or applicable legal requirements. You may ask us to stop sending nonessential product updates at any time.

Engage Companion clinical data

Engage Companion is being designed so that participant records, plans, session activity, and reports remain in an encrypted vault in the clinician’s browser rather than being stored as clinical records in Engage Companion’s cloud environment. The public website is separate from that clinical workflow.
